Enable power saving settings on your computer to save energy
Did you know that desktop computers are right behind lighting and heating in their energy use? On a PC, this feature can typically be found in the Windows control panel under the Power settings. On a Mac computer use the Apple menu, followed by System Preferences and find the Energy Saver settings.
Among other features, this will allow your computer screen to dim with inactivity, or go to sleep if you've left it idle for a while. The darker screen and sleep setting will use less energy, which will help you save on your electricity bill.
